My experience actually started off well. The people were nice but my experience was not ideal.I had a canvas painting wrapped on a stretcher. I felt the price to wrap it was fairly reasonable given the size so I let them do it. In the process of stretching the painting, it cracked in a few places. They said that I would need to pay to get it restored (about $200). I was upset first because it cracked and second because I needed to pay for the damage. It took months and several phone calls to finally get the painting back. I felt like I was left in the dark, because no one was providing updates when timelines were being missed. A project that was supposed to take a 3 weeks ended up taking 3 months. I ended up taking the painting to another framer. The new framers noticed that the painting was wavy and had not been wrapped tight enough and there was still cracking that had not been restored. They were kind enough to re-wrap, restore, frame and deliver my piece for far less than I had been charged with Caroline Budd.
